Home to the Bolleken beer, the bird market and many little pubs and restaurants, Antwerp is the ideal location for a cultural sightseeing break. There are super sales in the city centre throughout January, and the main shopping centre is just around the corner of the hotel. A new shopping centre, Stadsfeestzaal, has just opened 500 metres from the hotel.
The Wintervuur cultural festival offers a lot of winter activities. The hotel was renovated in 2007 and during winter 2008, there will be renovation works on the rooms. The hotel is fully air conditioned.
